The place has an organic/hippie vibe. For example, they served rosemary potatoes instead of french fries with the burger. Elk burger and razorback burger are excellent. A little pricey. Service OK. Highway 7 is a fantastic ride.

[Editors note: I upgraded the ride rating to a 5. There are a couple of specactular roads leading to Mena.]

Hogleg BBQ,
is a roadside BBQ stand. No tables, no waitresses, no frills, unless you count the food. Top notch Hickory smoked BBQ. Pulled pork, brisket, and dry rubbed ribs. It is on the NW corner of Hwy 64 and Hwy 21, on the eastern end of Clarksville Ar. Right next to a bait shop. Hwy 21 is a great ride north towards Boxley Valley, or you could turn onto hwy 16, about 30 miles North of the BBQ joint, at Fallsville, and head towards Fayetteville

This little "Hole-in-the-Wall" place is definitely worth stopping in. Right off of scenic Hwy 7, it holds some of the best BBQ we have ever eaten! The BBQ sausage is crisp on the outside, moist on the inside. Just perfect. The sandwiches are overflowing and big portions will more than fill your tummy for the trip to the Ozarks ahead. The people there are super friendly and the locals won't hesitate to chat with you while you're there. Just the mention of this place makes our mouths water and we instantly start pining for another trip to Mickey's.

Small Town Cafe on Steroids. The atmosphere is great, the food is great and inexpensive (try the Ozark Monte Christo), the service is enthusiastic and attentive, and unless you parachute in you can't get there without experiencing some of the finest riding in the country. I'm giving this 5 stars in every category without hesitation.

This is a very friendly, clean & reasonable, little mom and pop store/cafe 1.6 miles off Talimena Scenic Drive at the intersection of 59 & 272. They have seating for about 15 people. Both food & service are EXCELLENT! The folks that own and operate this place are very entertaining and the gentleman who cooked our food also did some magic tricks for my son. All food is cooked to order and breakfast is available all day. [Ed note: Some very fine riding nearby]

It's a Biker themed restaurant. Exhaust pipes hang and the bar and all the menu items have clever bike style names like "The Shovel Head", The Road King" and "The Biker Betty". Of course there's plenty of Motorcycle Only parking right out front. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and all of it was so good, we went back the next day to have more. Cycle Gadgets is right up the road and the biker playground of the Ozarks is right outside the door.

Scooters is part of The Hub biker resort. Fantastic roads in the area. Nice place, super-friendly staff, above-average food. Prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights is OUTSTANDING. Located in a dry county, so no liquor served in the restaurant, but you can bring your own.
