Official Obituary

Bill Ouellette

Bill John Ouellette, resident of Gilbert, AZ, previously lived and work in many states before retiring to Arizona, peacefully passed away on December 1, 2021, at his home at the young age of 71.

Bill was born on 14 August 1950, in Peckville, PA and was raised in Andover, MA. He spent his entire career in the auto industry. He started out pumping gas where he met his beautiful wife and retired as a district manager for a national tool company.

He was a devoted family man who loved his wife. He enjoyed teasing his 11 grandkids and making them laugh. He taught his son Dean the importance of working hard and balancing that with coaching youth sports. He also instilled his love of adventure and speed in his daughter Nicole and embraced her passion for animals.

Bill loved cars old and new. He enjoyed traveling around the country to car museums and car shows. He loved to go fast, travel, looking and planning his next adventure whether by land, air, or sea. He loved spending all his time with his wife and taking her to every state to find roadside attractions and oddities. Bill loved his country and the beautiful scenery each state offered.

He will be sadly missed and remembered by his wife for 52 years, Tina (Eaton) Ouellette; son and daughter-in law Dean and Jessica Ouellette of Chandler, AZ; daughter and son-in-law Nicole and Irwin Brown of Sierra Vista, AZ; and grandchildren, Jestyn, Tierra, Trinity, Anna OKeefe and her husband Alex, Sarah, Rachel, JD, Emily, Bridget, Paul, and Chloe.

He was predeceased by his father Dr. Raymond T. Ouellette, mother Doris Dixon, and his dog Chief. His funeral will take place on Monday afternoon December 13, 2021, at 2:00pm followed by the burial at Green Acres Cemetery; 401 N. Hayden RD, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. In lieu of flowers, Bill requests that you go on an adventure. Do something that you wanted to do but could not find the time. Go to a restaurant from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Take a trip by car, boat, or train somewhere near or far. Have fun and think of Bill.

A few select comments from Bill's MTF Friends:

Sorry to hear this. Saw him quite often when he lived in the Southeast.

I can't say that our physical paths ever crossed, but I do remember in my early days of the MTF, Bill always was available to offer words of wisdom on the forum to my questions. God speed.

Sorry to learn this, loved following his adventures on bike and sailboat.

    Rest In Peace Bill!
