After leaving Woodland Park, we headed on over to southwestern Colorado and the San Juan Mountains. This was our first time in that part of the state and we were really amazed at the beauty of the area. We stayed 4 nights at the KOA, just north of Ouray and really enjoyed the hospitality of the biker-friendly folks that run the place. The hot-tub that was less than 100' from our camp-site was another added bonus and we took full advantage of it.
