Summer Mountain Ride - June 20-21, 2008
What’s So Special About June 20th – 21st Next Year?
Why, it’s the 2008 Summer Mountain Ride (SMR). Held in conjunction with the Rough Road Ride (RRR), it’s a great opportunity to explore some of the best riding roads of West Virginia. Just think……great twisties, beautiful scenery, a chance to get out of cell phone range and enjoy some unique camaraderie.
If you’ve never made a Summer Mountain Run this is a great first opportunity. If you been to one before you know this will be a good one. Several routes will be provided, some rides will be lead. No demanding schedules, no pressure and no Rally Master!!!

River Ride - October 14 - 17, 2008
Join your fellow MTF'ers as we traverse the length of the Mississippi River from Hastings Minnesota to Clarksdale,Mississippi arriving just in time for the 2008 Founders Feast. Ride the entire way or join us enroute at our planned nightly stops; your choice. See the beauty along the banks of the Big Muddy. There’s no better way to get to the 2008 Founders Feast……………. Mike (Grumpy) and his lovely wife Lily say, "We will be taking our time on this ride, covering just over 300 miles per day. We'll stop each evening in a comfortable historic Inn or B&B, enjoying fine meals and good company. Tune in, first-hand, to the rhythms of the river before you get to the crossroads." We'll be leaving on Tuesday, Oct 14, 2007 from Hastings, MN with overnight stops at Dubuque, IA, Ft. Madison, IA, St. Genevieve, MO and arriving at Clarksdale, MS on Friday, Oct, 17, 2007 just in time for a little tire kickin at the 2008 Founders Feast.
